Counseling, Testing and Referral

The Counseling, Testing, and Referral Program links Community-Based Organizations and Faith-Based Institutions to increase HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C (HCV), and Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) education, awareness, testing, referral, and linkage to care among vulnerable populations who are least likely to get tested. NBLCA also offers a wide array of training and capacity-building on topics such as insurance navigation, policy, and advocacy to prevent health disparities and HIV stigma, and to promote health equity in marginalized communities.

NBLCA’s major goal is to lead and support efforts to promote health and prevent diseases, including the de-stigmatization of HIV testing and increasing access to HIV/STI/Hepatitis C prevention, treatment and care in communities of color.
