Community Service Program

The Community Service Program, a collaboration between Harlem United and the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, Inc. is a community-based program that allows NBLCA to partner with members of the clergy; community stakeholders and elected officials in the Washington Heights community in New York City’s Manhattan borough.

This program is done through workshops/trainings and other health events that promote the importance of knowing one’s HIV status. Under this contract NBLCA also works with houses of worship to provide HIV, Hepatitis C and STI testing to the community by hosting health fairs and other events that include health screenings.
